Hon Wycliffe Ngoti dreams of becoming Karachuonyo Member of Parliament is becoming real after he tried vying for the MCA- Member of County Assembly seat in 2022 Wang’chieng ward,Homabay County and became number two.
Jabunde as he is fondly known by his classmates back in his alma mater Oriwo Boys high School is an ambitious young politician who believes in helping the needy, standing with the Widows, Orphans and solving most of the problems from his electorates.
According to hon Ngoti, who in the past served as the ODM Chairman – Dagoretii South, he has a wealth of experience from serving in that higher position mostly in the capital city of Kenya- Nairobi- and his interactions mostly with electorates.
“I am banking on my vast experience, of being the ODM Chairman – Dagoretti South and vying for the MCA seat emerging number 2 in the 2022 general elections,” he said.
Hon Ngoti added that his aspirations to become the Karachuonyo Member of Parliament – Mp – is driven by his experience at his former high School,Oriwo Boys Secondary when he encountered what he terms as “life changing lessons, motivating him with the need to solve problems that bedevil his constituents.
“I did my primary at Gichagi- currently Kinyanjui Primary School- Nairobi’s Dagoretii South, then went to Oriwo Boys Secondary school where I came to terms with the problems encountered by my constituents – ranging from water, to bad roads, unemployment, and even lack of school fees from my constituents”
Driving on his slogan, *Karachuonyo Fresh*, Hon Ngoti is dedicated to make the Constituency “a new and a better place to stay, work and live,” as he adds.
Wycliffe Ngoti agenda for the vast Karachuonyo constituency are as follows;
Food security. Encouraging our farmers to employ modern farming activities for effecient production.
Pushing for better bursary disbursement to our students, and construction of better learning facilities on the already existing ones.
Good roads to enhance our business more so the feeder roads.
Youth empowerment, widows empowerment through their already organised groups.
Work on the water caused problems during rainy season.
