The 42-year-old entrepreneur revealed that she knows she isn’t the fairest of them all or anywhere close but she has learned to love herself regardless.
She added that she is happy that her Dutch husband Henning Nielsen appreciates, loves, and respects her in every way.
“The voice and face don’t match completely! The voice takes the snake out of the cave, but the face takes the snake back to the cave.
The face belongs to Ken Wa Maria. Don’t you have other clothes? Nice song anyway,” the soon-to-be mom wrote in her caption.
She went on to add that she has learned to live with her features as unfortunately she did not create herself nor choose to look how she does and above all her husband has never complained or called her names.
Finishing up she added;
“I did not create myself. And also, my husband does not complain that he sleeps with a zombie,” the last of her post read.
The caption left a bitter taste in her fans mouths. How followers flocked her comment section reassuring her that she was beautiful and need not change anything about her appearance. They felt terrible that the artist would harbor such thoughts about herself even though it is only human.
Netizens asked her to learn to block such negativity and not listen to people who try and put such thoughts in her head.
Interestingly this isn’t the first time the artist is referring to herself as undesirable. Just last week in a post on her Instagram page where she was gushing over her husband, Nyota revealed that there are people who had refused to date her as they termed her ugly.
